What to expect during the procedure:

• Several very small and easily-concealed incisions are created along the treatment area. The procedure will begin by placing a very small probe along the targeted area. This probe includes a tiny, state-of-the-art thermal imaging camera, which is used to carefully monitor the amount of radiofrequency energy emitted deep into the tissues. By hitting the desired therapeutic temperature,, we can maximize collagen rejuvenation and provide consistent results.
• Once in place, the thin ThermiTight wand is gently passed back and forth along the treatment area in a fanning pattern. The wand delivers radiofrequency energy creating the precise, predetermined amount of heat. These bursts of heat energy contract the targeted muscle and skin, helping to melt away small pockets of subdermal fat. The warmth will promote collagen production within the skin, rejuvenating the appearance.

Aftercare Instructions:

• The ThermiTight treatment causes minimal discomfort, has a low risk for serious complications, and is completely safe for all skin types. As the radiofrequency energy is not applied to the outer layers of skin, the therapeutic warmth will not damage tissues or cause discomfort. The ThermiTight procedure is minimally invasive and does not require general anesthesia, so there is little downtime necessary. To ensure proper healing and optimal results, patients may be required to wear a surgical garment or elastic band for the first 24 to 48 hours. Immediately after treatment, patients may note mild swelling, bruising, and tenderness. However, these side-effects will quickly fade. In just a few days, most patients are back to work, school, and their daily routine.
