After college, she gained valuable clinical experience as a medical scribe in a busy emergency department, which further confirmed her path in healthcare. She earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University in 2019.

Laina spent the first five years of her career in orthopedics, where she built a strong foundation in surgical care. While she enjoyed her time in orthopedics, her longstanding interest in plastic surgery and aesthetics led her to pursue her current specialty—where precision, creativity, and patient-centered care come together.

Outside of work, Laina enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling to new places, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
